A New Keychain for You

I really want to do a DIY for you but my camera got stolen so I'm just going to describe the process.

I found this bag clip/ keychain thing at free people but once again I was amazed by the price so here's an easier way to make one!

Free People $38

Materials:
Old Necklace
Snap Bolt Clip
Needle Nose Pliers

Directions:
Cut the chain in various lengths and using the pliers pry open a link of the chain, it helps if you have a cheap necklace, like one from Forever 21. Attach the chain links to the snap bolt clip's base, you can buy one from a craft store for $2 or steal one from an old keychain. Attach a charm or maybe an earring with no match by bending the post around the chain, whatever you like! I wish I could show you mine, it's awesome.

BAM a $40 keychain free if you scavenge the house.

I Know This is Super Ambitious but…

…how freaking amazing wold it be to make one of these with all of your clothes? Getting ready in the morning would be one hundred times easier!

I feel like this is the closest thing that I could get to Cher's computer from Clueless.

Which by the way you can do on the XBox 360 Kinect. Skip to the 2:13 mark.

Urban Key Necklace

I was on the urban website tonight and I saw this.

It's cute but it's $24 seriously?! I have that exact same key from some handcuffs I got at dave and busters when I was little. It makes a great DIY but I don't see why anyone would EVER buy this. Save yourself the $24, even if you don't have any old keys laying around, we have boxes at my house, look in junk heaps at flea markets, once I found seven in one pile and the vendor only wanted a dollar for all of them. I love Urban to death but sometimes their products hit a nerve.

Links!

[source]
It feels like forever since I've been on. This week will never end! I haven't done a link post in forever, my bookmarks folder is filling up... Here we go.

I thought this was really clever… unsanitary but clever.

These are so amazingly intricate it almost makes me feel bad for naming my playlist crunching leaves. Can you imagine cutting them?

This is what it would look like Wonderland and Hell had a baby in a drawing medium, in a good way.

Here's a fun fact about me I love exploring libraries and all their books. I could explore these ones for months.

I can't wait until we hook up the printer so I can have this print and cut disguise kit on hand just in case.

Some Pictures… and an Emotional Teenager Rant

This is really long and kind of pointless.

I've been having such a hard time adjusting to this abrupt sweater weather. Another thing I've learned about fall is it's when almost everything changes, the weather, peoples moods, and worst of all it's when my older friends go to college while I have to live here still. Last night I caught up with an old friend and slept over at his house and this morning I had to leave at 9 AM because he had to pack for college and move into his new apartment today. Although campus is only like a 15 minute bike ride from my house I still miss my friends all being in walking distance of me. He said I could stay with him some nights if I wanted to but it wont be the same. The weird thing is I'm not even that close to him, it's just the realization that all of my friends are leaving and my friend circle is getting a lot smaller. Especially since all of my friends my age live on the north side of town and I live on the south side of town. I now only have one friend in walking distance of me as of now.

P.S. Incase you're wondering, this boy is not my boyfriend. I don't have one. High school relationships are stupid thankyouverymuch.

May I Please Just Live Here for a Little Bit?

This house is gorgeous! I'm loving the flowers in the bowl... I might make one for my room after I finish weighing the pro's and con's of ruining a perfectly good mixing bowl.

Pointless Post

Ohmygosh, it has been so cold here in Ohio I don't want to do anything I just want to be in my kitchen cooking all day in front of the warm oven and then curl up at night under the three (yes, three) down comforters currently on my bed... It sounds heavenly now.

I feel like last week I had so much to blog about I took the cheaters way out and put all of my posts on a timer but now I have no idea what I want to say.

Yesterday in material science I finally got to make my dip 'n dots and got nitrogen burns on my thumbs and tongue as a result of getting too excited for my own good.

This video is amazing.

More Music

I don't know why I've made so many playlists recently... Anyways I switched to using 8tracks which is so so so much easier to use than the other music hosting sites. This is my September playlist. Enjoy. :)

These incredible photographs were done by Jeff Friesen check out his etsy shop.

Akita Playlist II

This is the second part of my playlist! I had to switch players because mixpod was too confusing with live versions, covers and such, so I switched. I also couldn't find Hickory by Iron and Wine which is supposed to go in front of funeral but here is the youtube link... Ok let's hit it!

Camp Playlist

I'd hate to do two music posts in a row but recently I've really missed camp so I put together two playlists of songs that remind me of camp. The second playlist will be released on wednesday so keep an eye out. :)

This makes me think of the art my
grandma does at Akita (did I mention
my grandparents met there?)
