Today I am going to Camp Akita aka the best place on earth I am so excited! I'm going to be doing their LIFE Guard program which stands for last is first eternally and we serve the other campers and make sure they have a great time. We serve meals set up activities and work on projects around camp to make it a better place. The funny thing is even though it sounds like work all spots are filled within the first week of registration (in February) and people pay to do it I originally wanted to go session C but I waited for a couple hours when the (church) member's only registration began and session C was already filled so I had to enter session D! It's so much fun and I am so excited.  Here are some pictures of camp.

I got two pairs of amazing shoes today from Everest Gear, they were having a shoe sale so I went in looking for Birkenstocks which would of been twenty percent off, but the only color they had in the style I wanted was blue. So I wandered around for a bit and figured out all flip flops were half off so naturally I got two pairs.

The In the Mood flip flops have beads in them
that change colors like a mood ring. How could I resist?

The in Cahoots sandals. I got these in purple because
they were out of brown in my size, the purple is pretty
cool but there was no picture of it on the website.
So here's the unofficial picture.

Vintage Football Programs

I was looking on google images and I found the most magnificent thing… vintage football programs. They're amazing I love how the players are portrayed as so heroic it's almost theatrical.

look like to vintage ones

And last but not least Buckeyes! Gotta represent
Ohio. Go Bucks!

You are perfect; this word just wasn't meant for you.

•This World Sunlight Map is not interactive at all but it's so cool!
•I want This in my yard, no I want four in my yard for an outdoor sitting area.
•I waste so much time on here
This really opened my eyes I mean think about it, what does it really mean to have fun?
•The thought that creatures from a fantasy like avatar exist made me smile

Today I was looking at the Free People Blog (a blog I am hopelessly addicted to) and I saw a recipe post about kebabs and then I started really craving kebabs so I pulled out some skewers chopped up some veggies and threw those puppies on the grill!

The Ingredients
1/2 onion
1/4 green pepper
1/2 butt end of squash
hand full of tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon curry
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 teaspoon chili powder

mix spices and salt. put the veggies on a skewer and brush with olive oil and sprinkle with spice mixture. throw on the grill turn every 2-5 minutes.

I ate mine with some brown rice, it was so good!
