Akita Playlist II

Camp Playlist

I'd hate to do two music posts in a row but recently I've really missed camp so I put together two playlists of songs that remind me of camp. The second playlist will be released on wednesday so keep an eye out. :)

Terrariums!

I confess, I've been back from camp for a few days now (I got back on the 3rd) but I've been so busy getting my normal life in order (and researching for a new project) I haven't gotten a chance to write a post. Anyways, while at camp I was trailblazing, which is pretty much making new trails in the hocking hills for campers and hiking enthusiasts alike to use, while I was trailblazing we had to take all of the plants off the new path so I picked up a fern and a little almost patty of moss and I put them in my water bottle. I decided I was going to rescue these plants. When I got back to the lodge where the guards stay I found a plastic bag and wet some paper towels and put them in the bag with lots of air. After thinking about it I decided I wanted to make a terrarium. So long story short here's my terrarium inspiration. 

I love the rustic look of these.

Camp!

Today I am going to Camp Akita aka the best place on earth I am so excited! I'm going to be doing their LIFE Guard program which stands for last is first eternally and we serve the other campers and make sure they have a great time. We serve meals set up activities and work on projects around camp to make it a better place. The funny thing is even though it sounds like work all spots are filled within the first week of registration (in February) and people pay to do it I originally wanted to go session C but I waited for a couple hours when the (church) member's only registration began and session C was already filled so I had to enter session D! It's so much fun and I am so excited.  Here are some pictures of camp.
